Kenneth Dale “Joe” Starnes, age 76, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes, Saturday, February 24, 2018, at his home in Rapid River.
Joe was born June 22, 1941, in Sagola, MI, the son of Harvey and Ada (Fox) Starnes. He was raised and attended school in Escanaba. Joe married the former Doris Hawkins on August 9, 2003. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry work and going to camp. Joe loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was fortunate to have spent extra time with his granddaughter Alisha and enjoyed being involved in her art projects and her interests at college.

Grandchildren: Adam, Gavin, Parker, Christopher, Ricky, Marcus, Matthew, Ashlie and Alisha
Great Grandchildren: Harmony and Zaira
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his 9 siblings.
Family will receive friends on Friday, from 3:00PM to 5:30PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services will follow visiting hours, at 5:30PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone, with Rev. Fr. Brian Gerber of All Saints Church officiating. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting with arrangements.
