Died June 13, 2018

Kathryn L. Hebert, age 75, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 13, 2018, at her home in St. Jacques.

Kathy was born on July 28, 1942, in Escanaba, the daughter of Walter and Verona (Johnson) Wilbee. She was raised in Rapid River and was a 1960 graduate of Rapid River High School.

On August 6, 1960, Kathy was united in marriage to Howard Hebert, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Rapid River, and together the couple made their home, raised their family and spent their entire lives together in St. Jacques.

Kathy enjoyed traveling and would often take trips to Indiana where she would spend time visiting her Aunt. In her earlier years, she went on a trip to Germany to visit her brother in law who was stationed there during his enlistment. Her fond memories of traveling with her mother in law and sister in law made it a trip of a lifetime. Kathy’s greatest joy was spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her husband Howard, Kathy is survived by:
Children: David Hebert
Scott (Ollie) Hebert
Jodi (Len) Nedeau
Brother: Wes (Joan) Wilbee
Grandsons: Justin and Jordan Nedeau and Derek Hebert

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Verona.

Kathy will be laid to rest in the Rapid River Cemetery on Friday June 29, 2018 at 10:00AM. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting with arrangements.
