June Heslip, age 90, life long Brampton area resident, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at the Christian Park Village in Escanaba.
June was born June 4, 1914, in Gladstone, the daughter of William and Dora (McKnight) Stewart. She was raised in the Gladstone/Brampton area and attended the Gladstone-Buckeye schools. In 1938, June married her husband Albert Heslip in Gladstone and the couple made their residence in the Brampton area where they raised their family. Albert preceded June in death in 1986. June worked for 27 years at the Pine Haven Rest Home in Gladstone as a nurse
