Glenn “Buzzy” David Sexton Jr.

Resided in Flat Rock, MI
Died August 10, 2018

Glenn “Buzzy” David Sexton Jr., age 44, of Flat Rock passed away Friday, August 10, after a courageous two and a half year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Glenn was known for his unbeatable pool skills and love for driving his semi-truck. He adventured all over the country any chance he got. It never failed that Glenn seemed to make friends no matter where he was as he had a way of bringing the best out in people. He enjoyed cooking and was well-known for his meatballs and pasties. Though he enjoyed watching “The Walking Dead”, his true favorite hobby was watching the Oakland Raiders-preferably win. In addition, he fished and camped any chance he got. More than anything, however, Glenn loved his family, friends, and most of all kids and grandkids. Glenn lived every minute of his life to the fullest and fought until his last breath.

Glenn is survived by his parents, Glenn Sr. and Beverly Sexton. His older sister, Rodella Sexton and younger sisters Tabitha (Paul) Sargent and Christy (Sandile) Nukuna. He also leaves behind his children: Derik (Deanna) Sexton, Dominic Gibbons, and Jersey Sexton and grandchildren, Tatiana and Gentae, along with a multitude of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 16 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bark River Bible Church. Funeral services will be at 5:00 PM at the church with Pastor Brad Cochran officiating. A luncheon will be served in the fellowship hall following the services. Glenn will be laid to rest in the Escanaba Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to help cover the funeral expenses.

The Sexton family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
