Gerald “Gerry” Lee Gagnon, age 55, of Gladstone passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Gerry was born November 24, 1961 in Escanaba, the son of Harold D. and Kathleen (Porter) Gagnon. Gerry was a semi-truck driver for over 20 years, accumulating over 3 million miles in his career. Gerry enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved racing and watching NASCAR, camping, working in the garage with his brothers, snowmobiling and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Gerry is survived by his mother, Kathleen (David) Gagnon-Andrews of Gladstone, his sons, Justin (Heidi) Gagnon of Mosinee, WI and Brandon (Lisa) Gagnon of Escanaba, his daughter, Alison Gagnon of Gladstone; grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Ethan, Anna, Blake and Brock; siblings, Dana (Chuck) Helgerson of Rochester, MN, Darrell (Sherri) Gagnon of Gladstone, Mark (Teri Anderson) Gagnon of Gladstone and Rick (Jenifer Jones) Gagnon of Ford River, numerous nieces and nephews and his significant other, Tina Kleiber.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold D. Gagnon, his brothers, Harold A. Gagnon and Jon R. Gagnon, paternal grandparents, Walter and Hannah Gagnon and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Beatrice Porter.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba with closing prayers at 6:00 PM. Friends and family will gather at the Ford River Pub following the services. Gerry will be laid to rest in the West Ford River Cemetery.
