4 Tributes for “Elvira J. Skorupski

Auntie Vera, I always knew you would live a long life. I have a fond childhood memory of being in the UP of Michigan at your home. I was maybe five or six, and one of the older kids put me on a horse and walked me around the yard. It may not seem like much, but to me, it has always been a memory that has warmed my heart. We lived far from one another so we didn’t see you much. I hope you knew how much I loved you. My mom (Sharon) always loved “going home”. My heart breaks at the loss of you. You were one of the strongest women I ever met.

Aunti Elvira was the sweetest, most cheerful and easy going Aunt I have ever known. She was fun to be around. Her apple pies were the best in the world! She will be missed by all her Chicago relatives!
