Elizabeth Jean “Betty” Keldsen, 93, of Gladstone, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.
Betty was born April 11, 1923 in Escanaba, the daughter of Phillip and Irene (Coutner) Jacobs. She was born and raised in Ralph, Michigan. Betty and her husband George owned and operated the Log Cabin Supper Club for many years. Betty loved playing golf on her women’s league in the summer and her bowling league in the winter.

2 Step-Sons: Jim (Inga) Keldsen of Walnut Creek, CA
John (Susan) Keldsen of Lansing, MI
2 Daughters: Sharon (Howard Morris) McClure of Bentley, MI
JoAnnette Devault of Roscommon, MI
1 Sister: Marilyn Schils of Oxford, MI
And many Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren

Granddaughter: Kari Lofquist
Betty’s family will receive friends on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wells with Rev. Fr. Rick Courier officiating. Betty will be laid to rest at Gardens of Rest cemetery in Wells.
