Edward Lee Spaulding, Jr., age 77, of Rapid River passed away at home on Saturday, July 21, 2018.
Edward was born May 18, 1941 in Escanaba, the son of Edward and Leona (Rochefort) Spaulding. He was employed with American Timber Homes in Bayview and the Cunard Lumber Mill in Hermansville for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
Edward is survived by his brothers, George (Sandra Jean) of Kipling, Lawrence (Shirley) of Gladstone and Milton of Munising; his sisters, Grace Spaulding of Peshtigo, WI and Eleanor Laurin of Nadeau and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth, his parents, a brother, Bill and a sister, Luella Hancock.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Spaulding family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
