Anna Cordellia Lalka, 92, of Cooks, MI passed away Friday evening September 29, 2017 at the Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique.
Anna was born October 17, 1924 in Dutch Creek, Arkansas the daughter of William and Alean (Davis) Damon.
Survivors include:
Son: Billy (Sonia) Harris of Cooks, MI
Daughter: Lavern (James) Brinkey of Waterford, MI
Sisters: Lorene Rice and Rebecca Rice of Arkansas
7 grandchildren: Kelli, Billy Jr, Katrina and Guy Harris, Jimmy, Becky, Beverly Brinkey
12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to her parents, her husbands, Alick Harold Harris and Edward Lalka, brothers, Thomas and William Damon and sister, Minnie Boyette preceded Anna in death.
Graveside services will be held on Monday October 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills, MI with Pastor David DeValamick officiating. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the Lalka family.

I remember Granny when I was young but never forgot about her. Thought of her often. She was always a sweet and kind gentle woman who will be truly missed. For now she is in Heaven looking down upon us.
