Ann Marie Mankiewicz, age 60, of Escanaba, passed away at home, Tuesday morning, January 9, 2018.

Ann was born July 10, 1957 in Marquette, MI., the daughter of Roger Martin and Marie (Fortin) Sundberg. Ann was united in marriage August 21, 1980 to Robert Mankiewicz at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Perkins. She graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. She was a substitute teacher for many years in Marquette and Delta County. Ann also was a religious coordinator for St. Joseph Catholic Church in perkins.

Ann enjoyed singing, writing, crocheting, and reading. More than anything, Ann loved spending time with family and friends.

2 Daughters: Angelia Mankiewicz
Tammy (John) Wahl
4 Sisters: Nannette Martin, Debbra Martin, Penny (Richard) Harter, and Jennifer (Richard) Kjellman

5 Brothers: Jeff (Tammy) Martin, William (Betty) Fortin, Alfred Keefer, Doug (Bonnie) McMahon, and Dan Gentz

3 Grandsons: Devon Mankiewicz, Mark Wahl, Mason Mankiewicz

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2014, and her father, Roger Martin in 2013

A funeral mass is scheduled at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Perkins on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Noon.The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Mankiewicz family.
